THE STRAITS performing the music of Dire Straits

DIRE STRAITS legacy is alive and well thanks to the musicians who made history with the band. The Straits features members from the lineup's heyday, performing all the greatest songs from Dire Strait’s discography-

"Sultans of Swing", "Lady Writer", "Romeo and Juliet", "Tunnel of Love", "Telegraph Road", "Private Investigations", "Money for Nothing", "Walk of Life", "So Far Away", "Your Latest Trick", "Brothers in Arms", and many more.

Dire Straits' Alan Clark and Chris White with five hand picked, world class musicians - Terence Reis, Andy Treacey, Mickey Féat, Adam Phillips and Jamie Squire.

For fans that have missed on of the best loved rock bands of the eighties, The Straits will bring you back in time for an awesome experience that recalls their heyday.

Here are what critics are saying about the band...
"…like Dire Straits when they were at their best: in the Brothers in Arms era."
"…it was easy to forget we weren’t watching the original Dire Straits in its early 1980′s prime."

Former Dire Straits member Alan Clark, "We’ve been inundated with letters of support from Dire Straits’ fans, and what has become apparent to us over the past two years is how much this music means to so many people, how much they’ve missed hearing it performed live with the skill, passion and energy they experienced back in the days of Dire Straits."

Well, the wait is over...

Alone onstage with acoustic guitar in hand, Farren captures an audience with his unique delivery, insightful lyrics, memorable songs, soaring vocals, and subtle yet innovative guitar style. It wasn't always quite so subtle, as Charlie formed this original self-taught style with a history of successful rock bands through the 80s, including The Joe Perry Project and Farrenheit.
