THE COMMON MAN CLAREMONT HOSTS BENEFIT DINNER FOR
HIGH SCHOOL FIRST ROBOTICS TEAM
Three-Course Meal for $25 on Thursday, March 20
CLAREMONT, N.H. – The Common Man in Claremont is hosting a benefit dinner to help local students competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition.
On Thursday, March 20 from 5 – 9 p.m., The Common Man will offer four different entrée selections as part of a three-course meal for $25. Ten dollars of every ticket sold will benefit the Rogue Robotics team of Claremont.
Team 3585--The Rogue Robots of 4-H, are participants in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). FIRST, founded by New Hampshire entrepreneur Dean Kamen, is an organization that inspires young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs. The programs build science, engineering and technology skills, inspire innovation and foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication and leadership.
Dinner will include a house tossed salad, non-alcoholic beverage and a choice of one of four entrees, including Stuffed Chicken, New England Pot Roast, North Atlantic Cod Oscar or Vegetable Tofu Stir Fry. Entrées are served with the specialty mashed potato of the night and chef’s choice of vegetable. Dinner will finish chef’s choice of dessert, tea or coffee. Tax and gratuity are included in the ticket price.
A raffle will be held during the course of the evening for an overnight stay at The Common Man Inn & Restaurant in Claremont. Students will also have their competition robot on site for guests to view and ask questions.
