Brioche French Toast
A diner classic! Soft, thick-cut brioche dipped on our signature batter then griddled to golden deliciousness.

- ½ cup half and half
- 4 eggs
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp Triple Sec
- ½ tbsp vanilla extract
- 4 slices Brioche bread, thick sliced
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- butter, for griddle and for serving
Whisk the first seven ingredients together in a shallow bowl or baking dish.
Mix the cinnamon and granulated sugar together in a separate small dish.
Heat a griddle or cast iron pan over medium heat. Add a small pat of butter. When sizzling you are ready to add the french toast.
In batches, dip the brioche slices in the batter and coat fully. Allow excess to drip off, then transfer to the hot griddle. Sear on both sides until golden brown.
Serve dusted with powdered sugar, sprinkled with cinnamon-sugar mixture, and topped with softened or whipped butter.
