A full evening of entertainment that harkens back to the heyday of  Doo Wop!

The Tune Weavers- Original Hall of Fame Members!!
Ultimate Tribute to The Platters
featuring former lead singer Tony Funches
We are pleased to announce the return of The Tune Weavers after 42 years away from the Doo Wop scene. As many of you remember, The Tune Weavers were blessed with a hit recording of "Happy, Happy Birthday Baby" in 1957, which sold over two million copies, as well as hits like "Old Man River".  The two remaining original members of The Tune Weavers, John Sylvia and Charlotte Davis Rose, have joined with Burt Pina and Alice Fernandes in the newly reformed group.  The Tune Weavers received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Doo Wop Hall of Fame of America in 2003.

Funches toured the world for over a decade as the lead singer of Herb Reed's Platters, singing the all-time rock 'n roll classics "Only You", "My Prayer", "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes", "Harbor Lights", and "The Great Pretender" among other great songs.  He and Davis just returned as stars on from the Norwegian Cruise  Line's Boston to Bermuda "oldies but goodies" cruise.

This revue style show will be backed by Harvey Robbins Royalty of Rock 'n Roll All-Star Band.  Robbins is president/founder of the Doo-Wopp Hall Of Fame Of America.  If you love the music from the l950's and l960's, these great artists will truly turn back the hands of time. Be there or be square!!
