Apple Butter Grilled Cheese

The ultimate cozy, comfort food with a fall-inspired twist. Sourdough bread seared to crisp, golden perfection with creamy Manchego and spiced apple butter layered in-between.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 oz thinly sliced Manchego
  • 2 tbsp Apple Butter
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened

Instructions
 

  • Butter all four pieces of sourdough. Flip two pieces over, and spread a tablespoon of apple butter on each one. Add sliced Manchego cheese, season with salt and pepper, and top with the other slice of sourdough (buttered side out).
  • Heat a saute pan over medium heat. Add the sandwiches and cook until golden brown. Gently flip and brown on the other side. If the sandwiches are golden brown but the cheese isn't completely melted, finish in a 350℉ oven or air fryer for a few minutes.
